Found Bottles

These works were made in response to seven small glass bottles I found in my garden over a ten-year period. I found them while digging in the vegetable patch and flower beds and one was even found when the foundations for my studio were being dug. The builder handed me a perfectly intact bottle that he had spotted from the digger. He didn’t know that I had been collecting them. I displayed them in my home as the collection grew. Although I don’t live there anymore, I still have my precious collection on display.
